France's Top Android Beauty Retail Apps in Q1 2021: A Performance Snapshot

In the first quarter of 2021, the French Android market witnessed varied performance among the top Beauty Retail applications. Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into the numbers behind these trends.
Sephora - Make-up, Beauty experienced a notable peak in downloads mid-quarter, reaching over 21K in the second week of February, followed by a gradual decline to approximately 10K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users mirrored this trajectory, starting at around 47K in late December and spiking to over 64K in the second week of February, before settling near 57K in the last week of March.
The trajectory for Nocibé La beauté partagée showed a significant surge in downloads to nearly 15K in the third week of January, but this trend reversed to stabilize at around 4K towards the end of March. Weekly active users reached their zenith at approximately 27K in the same January week, before gradually decreasing to about 12K.
Beauté Privée maintained a more consistent performance in downloads, with a slight increase to over 3K in early February. Weekly active users started strong at 111K, peaked at 114K in late January, and experienced a mild decline to just over 100K by the close of the quarter.
BEAUTY BAY saw a steady increase in downloads, from under 1K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 1.6K in early March, followed by a dip back to 872 by the quarter’s end. Active users showed a gradual increase from 4K to 6K in early March, before a drop-off to 4.7K.
Lastly, LOOKFANTASTIC -Beauty Shopping downloads fluctuated, with a high of over 1.3K in early February and a low of 766 towards the end of March. Weekly active users peaked at around 12K in mid-February but saw a slight decline to 10.7K by the end of March.
